About the Buttery
Barton Springs Buttery is a one-woman bakery and provisions project in Austin, TX. The focus is sourdough breads, handmade pastas, and other small-batch goods—made slowly, by hand, and by inspiration.
It’s not a storefront. This is more like finding a favorite band in the corner of a bar—something funky, intentional, and a little under the radar. The kind of thing you follow, not just consume.
You’ll find the goods at shows, markets, or pickup—when the timing’s right and the dough says go.

FAQ
What is a buttery?
Buttery is an old word for a place where food—bread and provisions—is stored or prepared. It’s not a common term anymore, and that’s why I like it.
What flour do you use?
Fresh milled flour from Barton Springs Mill!
Where do you sell your goods?
Follow on instagram to catch upcoming events, bakery drops, and pick-ups.
How do I order?
In the shop feature on this website – but the shop is like a secret portal – it will only appear when goods are available, and it will close when they’re sold out.
Do you make gluten-free and allergen free items?
Sometimes. However, I don’t work out of an allergen free kitchen so while the recipes may be allergen free, the risk is up to the consumer.
Can you deliver? Do you ship?
No delivery at this time. Shipping on non-perishables available with a fee.
